The members of Wednesday Fellowship were delighted to take up the invitation of the Civic Ambassador to visit the Parlour at Newham Town Hall. Cllr Maureen Jones and her Consort welcomed the group to afternoon tea and showed them some of the memorabilia to be found in the Parlour. Pride of place was given to a picture of Jack Cornwell who is the youngest recipient of the Victoria Cross.
