Thanks to all our very regular folk coming into us on Saturday mornings we are still able to donate to many charities.  People like to make it a meeting place to see their friends as they enjoy our tea and coffee and of course cheese scones and homemade cakes.

We do have a problem though – and that is getting volunteers to give a couple of hours just once a month to clear tables or wash up.  I’ve also mentioned before if now and again anyone might make a cake for us to cut up and sell we would be very grateful.  Diane and Phyllis have been doing this for us recently and we do thank them.

Have you noticed the very nice table cloths we are now using?  They were bought for us by Brenda (Connie’s daughter) in memory of Connie as she was one of our helpers in the past.
