During the year we have enjoyed a varied programme.  We have listened to a number of interesting speakers, some from local churches as well as people serving the community such as Talking Papers and the Police.  We focused one of our devotional meetings on the work on Christian Aid.  Richard House (children’s hospice) invited us for a tour of their partially built premises.  This involved an excursion to an unknown part of the Borough of Newham and was something of an adventure.  We always welcome new members in our group, so if you are free on a Wednesday afternoon between 2pm and 3:30 please come along.
